This is a 6/4 size F tuba, 4 piston valves, 5th thumb rotor and 2nd valve tuning trigger. With case. The patina is also perfect on this horn. The model 8 (and subsequent model 9) was Earl's largest tenor model. The model 62H was the "Gardell Simons" and featured two screw bell options, one with a 6" bell and one with a 7.5" bell. Plays great with a big broad orchestral sound, response is immediate and intonation is consistent throughout the overtones.
